Funda Asik

Founding Partner, Consultant

Funda graduated from Hacettepe University Computer Sciences and Engineering department, in 1989.

During the first 12 years in her career, she worked as a software engineer, project manager and engineering department manager for the Telecommunications Software Development Companies (e.g. Ortas, Alcatel, Telsoft, Connectus) which develop mission critical software for the international large scale telco operators. Funda has got a considerable software project management experience in a portfolio of international companies.

During the following 9 years, she worked in Information Technologies Outsourcing and Business Processes Outsourcing projects as a senior project manager and project management teams leader in SBS, Siemens and SIS. She gained in depth knowledge on Project Management Office and IT Outsourcing topics.

She has various certifications on Project Management, Leadership and Mentoring.

Funda continues to share her knowledge and experience with her new customers in Rengo Consultancy which she became a founding partner as of May, 2012.

Dr. Arzu Gunduz

Consultant

She graduated from Istanbul Technical University Industrial Engineering, in 2001.
She earned MSc from Sabanci University Industrial Engineering Department, meanwhile she worked within the University as Teaching Assistant and Project Specialist in Tusiad - Sabanci University Competitiveness Forum between 2001 – 2003.
During the following 8 years, she worked in Information Technologies Outsourcing and Business Processes Outsourcing projects as a Project Office Specialist, Process Consultant, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Program Manager in SBS, Siemens, Fujitsu Siemens and SISS. She continued her academic research and completed Ph.D. study in March 2011.
Between 2012 – 2015, she worked as the Head of Project and Service Management Team which is fully responsible for the contract management and P&L in finance sector at Atos Turkey.
She has various certifications on Project Management and Leadership.
Between 2015 October and March 2016, she worked as Lecturer at Nisantasi University.
She is contributing to Rengo Consultancy as a consultant with her knowledge and experience in change/transition and transformation management, portfolio management and project management, starting from November 2015.
Starting from April 2016, she is working as Assist. Prof. Dr. at Okan University.

Sebnem Akyildiz

Consultant

Sebnem was graduated from Bosphorus University-Electric and Electronics Engineering in 1987. She worked within the University as a Research Assistant and in the following years she continued as a software engineer in Teletas, Egebank.

She earned MSc from University of Houston in Computer Sciences upon which she concentrated on Telecom software development and management. Until year 2000, she worked in multinational companies like Telsoft, Karma and Connectus, serving large scale multinational companies like NEC, Siemens to name a few, delivering sophisticated solutions in which local and remote partners participated. She assumed software engineering, project management and engineering department management roles.

She worked for Hewlett Packard (HP) between 2000 - 2011, first as project manager and later on as the Telecom group manager for Turkey in HP Consulting. Within few years, she was transferred to EMEA region, undertaking the sales and bid management roles for a software product group of HP in Telecom market. From 2006 on, she functioned as the worldwide product and planning manager for the same software product group. During this role, she served 100+ telecom customers worldwide within a wide scale from small local operators to multinational ones like MTS, Telefonica and Vodafone. Within HP's distributed process oriented structure, by utilizing worldwide deployed tools and best practices, Sebnem delivered customer oriented products and solutions, employing multinational resources from China, India, Italy and USA. She specialized in product planning and management, marketing relationship, and financials of the team.

Starting in 2013, she acts as a consultant in Rengo Consultancy by project basis.
